We at the Empty Room Podcast have always believed that one of the worst things that can happen is for a child to get cancer.  He, or she, has no idea what is happening and goes through the same treatment (we believe) as an adult.  It breaks our hearts.  There is no reason only 4% of federal monies go to child cancer research.  Get rid of 70% of both parties working in there and put it into research to save as many kids as possible…

Support your local organizations that do so much to aid families dealing with this situation.  Their lives are turned upside down.  Local organizations often make better use of monies collected and ensure families that truly need it receive.
